A search profile is a saved search: search terms, search mode, locations, CPV codes and any other filters. Use one profile per service line or market, for example “Facility management, Ireland” and “IT security, DACH”. Profiles can email you new matches daily or weekly.

What you can do

  • Save the current search in Opportunities as a profile.
  • Switch between profiles from the Search profiles menu next to the search box: Pinned, Recents and All.
  • Pin the profiles you use most, so they appear under Pinned.
  • Turn on Email updates (Daily or Weekly) per profile.
  • Manage all your profiles in Settings → Preferences, or click Manage profiles above the results.
When no profile is applied, the bar above the results reads Company recommendations (in the Recommended view) or All opportunities. Company recommendations is not a saved search but your company’s matched feed. See How matching works.

1

Create or edit a profile

Click New profile, or open an existing one and click Edit profile.
2

Fill in Search terms and choose a Search mode

Smart search or Keywords.
3

Add locations

Add a few countries, regions or cities, separated by commas. See Limits.
4

Add CPV codes, separated by commas

Shorter codes cover a broader category. See Limits for accepted code lengths.
5

Choose the Email updates frequency, or Off

6

Click Save profile

Other actions: Pin or Unpin, View opportunities (opens Opportunities with the profile applied) and Delete profile. Deleting a profile also stops its email updates and cannot be undone.
More filters live under Additional filters. The Settings form edits search terms, mode, locations, CPV codes and email updates directly. Open Additional filters to change the profile’s other saved filters, such as contract value, procedure type, deadline, source or notice type.

Who can manage what

  • Every member manages their own search profiles. Preferences is visible to all members.
  • Company preferences (services, contract value range, certifications, countries and regions) are shared across the company and apply to every profile. Only owners and admins can change them with Edit preferences.

Search profiles versus the opportunity briefing

Search profile email updates send you new results for a saved search. The opportunity briefing is different: it summarises opportunities Emma has qualified for your company. See Opportunity briefing.
