Every member of your workspace has one organization role. The role sets what they can see and change across Reyda, and whether they can work with Emma. On top of that, you can give people Viewer or Editor access to a single Bid Room or document, including guests from outside your company.

Organization roles

You choose a role in Settings → Members: Owner, Admin, Editor or Viewer. Owners have full control of the organization. Admins can manage members, settings and sensitive library documents. Editors work on tenders, proposals, forms and the library. Viewers can look around and manage their own search profiles, but can’t change shared work.

What each role can do

Members who are not owners or admins see only the Preferences and Integrations tabs in settings.
Give the Editor role to anyone who works with Emma. New invitations start as Viewer, and viewers can’t use Emma or connected apps. Check the role before you send an invitation.

Access to a single Bid Room or document

Use Share in a Bid Room to give access to one room or file, without changing someone’s organization role.
  • Viewer can view and comment, but cannot edit.
  • Editor can view, comment and edit.
You can share the whole Bid room, This document or This form. Workspace members keep the access of their organization role. You can also invite Guests by email. Guests see only the pages shared with them and have no chat pane. When someone without access opens a link, they can click Request access. You approve or reject the request in the Share dialog. Approved requests get Viewer access by default. See Sharing and guests for the steps.

What Emma can do on your behalf

Emma acts with the permissions of the person who asked her. She cannot read sensitive library documents for an editor, and she cannot create a Bid Room for someone who could not create one themselves. In Slack, Reyda matches the Slack user to a Reyda account by email. Guests and people outside your Slack workspace cannot use Emma there.
