If your team already works in ChatGPT or Claude, you can connect it to Reyda. The assistant can then look up opportunities, read tender and library documents, check your pipeline and research buyers and suppliers, using your Reyda account and your permissions. Reyda provides this through an MCP server. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI assistants use to connect to other tools: think of it as a plug socket that any compatible assistant can use.

What an assistant can read

With access approved, the assistant can:
  • Opportunities: search by keywords, country, CPV code, buyer, value and deadline, and read deadlines, values, source links and the fit score Reyda already has for you.
  • Documents: the text Reyda has already extracted from tender documents and your library files.
  • Pipeline: items in Triage, Pursue, No bid or Archived.
  • Buyers and suppliers: recorded awards, top suppliers, sectors, wins and contracts, including those approaching their recorded end date.
Every answer can link back to the page in Reyda (app.reyda.ai), so you can check the source.

Read-only, and separate from Emma

The connection only reads your data, and it is separate from Emma. The assistant cannot:
  • create, change or delete anything in Reyda;
  • start a bid/no-bid report, document extraction or any other paid analysis;
  • ask Emma to do work, or see your Emma conversations;
  • read anything your Reyda account can’t already see.

Supported assistants

Reyda’s guided setup covers Claude (claude.ai and Claude Desktop) and ChatGPT. You find both under Settings → Integrations → AI assistants.

Other MCP clients can connect only once Reyda has registered them. See Other MCP clients.

Who can connect

Anyone with an active account in your organization can connect, including the Viewer role. Each person connects and approves their own access. Guests invited to a single Bid Room or document can’t read organization data this way.

Plan requirements

  • Reyda: you can connect without a paid plan, but the assistant can only read data while your organization has an active paid Reyda subscription. Free and trial plans don’t qualify. Without one, the connection stays in place but the assistant can’t read anything. See Plans and credits.
  • ChatGPT: custom MCP apps are a ChatGPT feature, and availability depends on your ChatGPT plan and workspace settings. In a business workspace, a workspace administrator creates the app once and publishes it for members. Eligible personal accounts can use developer mode for read-only connectors.
  • Claude: custom connectors are a Claude feature, and availability depends on your Claude plan and workspace settings. On Claude Team or Enterprise, a workspace owner adds the connector once under organization connectors. Pro and Max users can add their own.

Server URL

In production, Reyda’s MCP server is:
Always copy the exact value from Settings → Integrations → AI assistants, together with the client ID and callback URL the setup guide shows.

Permissions

When you connect, you approve four read permissions together:

Limits

The assistant reads results and long documents in pages, continuing where it stopped, and calls are rate limited. For details, see the Tool reference.

Security

  • Your access only, in one organization: the one shown on the consent screen. Sensitive library documents stay limited to owners and admins.
  • No passwords in the assistant. You sign in on Reyda’s own page. The assistant gets a short-lived token that renews itself.
  • Logged use. Reyda records which tool was used, by whom and when, but not your questions or the document text returned.
  • Your assistant’s terms apply to what it reads from Reyda.
See Security and data.

FAQ

No. Emma is Reyda’s AI bid manager and works inside Reyda. An MCP connection lets your own assistant read your Reyda data. It can’t hand work to Emma or see your Emma conversations.
No. Every tool is read-only. Reading through the assistant doesn’t change anything in Reyda or start paid work.
Reyda tells the assistant to treat document text as evidence, not instructions, and answers can link back to the source. A tender document can still contain text aimed at AI tools, so check important answers against the source in Reyda.
