# Buyer activity report

> See what a buyer has bought before, who won, and how that history ties to the tender you're qualifying.

Use the report to judge how competitive a tender really is, whether there is an incumbent, and how to pitch your response.

> [!NOTE]
>
> You need the owner, admin or editor role. The notice must name a known buyer, and the buyer documents must be on the tender's **Documents** tab. Generating reports uses AI credits; see [Plans and credits](https://reyda.mintlify.site/account/plans-and-credits.md).

## Generate the report

**1. Open the tender in **Pipeline** and stay on the **Overview** tab**

**2. On the **Buyer activity report** card, click **Create report****

**3. Confirm in **Create buyer report?****

"Reyda will look at the buyer's past notices, suppliers, and buying patterns so you can judge how to approach them."

**4. When the card shows **Ready**, click **Open full report****

Click **Re-generate** to refresh the report, or **Export PDF** to share it.

## What the report contains

**Overview & Insights**

* **Summary**: an AI-generated summary of the buyer's historic activity.
* **Key insights**: answers to questions such as:
  * Who has won similar contracts with this buyer before?
  * What CPV categories does this buyer focus on?
  * Has this buyer bought similar services before, and how often?
  * What is the typical value range for similar contracts?
  * Does the buyer tend to reuse the same suppliers or rotate vendors?
* **Similar Notices**: other notices from this buyer that resemble the tender.

**Relevant contract history**

* **Similarly awarded contracts by this buyer**, with award value and award date where published.

If the report shows "No relevant historic activity", that is useful too: there may be no incumbent. The buyer may not have awarded contracts in this category yet, may use other procurement channels, or the data may not be public.

> [!TIP]
>
> The **Details** card on the pipeline tender also shows the **Current supplier** when the notice
> data includes one. Combine it with this report to plan your approach.

## Ask Emma

Emma can research a buyer from the chat, using public contract data and, if you allow it, the web. She tells you where each finding comes from.
